Kendall National Violin Competition, Kendall String Project

Generously supported by the Kendall Community Op Shop

This project is instructive and fun! Play alongside young, talented musicians from the Sydney Conservatorium and benefit from workshops run by Goetz Richter (violin/ strings), Giuseppe Zangari (Guitar) and Angela Shin (cello)

Friday, March 206 -7.30 pm Opening workshop and get together (bowed instruments only)
Super effective practice: creative ways to improve playing and performance efficiently (with Goetz Richter)

Saturday, March 21
11-1 String workshop (Ensemble, bowed instruments)
11-1 Guitar Workshop with Giuseppe Zangari (CWA hall)
1 pm BYO Lunch
2.30 – 3.30 instrument technique workshop: let’s get specific
> Violins/Violas: Kendall School of Arts
> Celli/Double bass: CWA hall.
4 – 5 pm Ensemble workshop (Kendall School of Arts)

Sunday, March 22
Be ready to join the fun. We will work towards a performance in the afternoon of some great music for string orchestra
11- 1 Ensemble Rehearsal & Workshop
2 pm Community Concert Kendall School of Arts with musicians from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and workshop participants
